Below you will find an excerpt from a news story that was recently published by John Jay College involving EOF alum Silvia Mazzula. It was announced, in the story, that she’ll he working with the RISE program for Boys and Men of Color.
Mazzula, an Associate Professor of Psychology at the school, will work with Josephine Serrate, the Director of Evaluation and Research at Casa de Esperanza’s National Latin@ Network for Healthy Families and Communities. Their tasks will be to understand interventions and policies that improve life outcomes for Latino boys and Men of Color.
“It is an honor to be part of an initiative that invests in boys and Men of Color in the United States,” she said.
