The EOF Promise Award was initially offered to first-year EOF Students in Fall 2004. According to TCNJ President R. Barbara Gitenstein, the program is an important step toward enriching the College and its commitment to educating a diverse population, one that mirrors the population of the State of New Jersey.
The Promise Award provides funding for the full cost of attendance for the Fall and Spring semesters of the first two-years of their studies at the college. To receive the Promise Award, you must be eligible to receive the State of New Jersey’s Tuition Aid Grant (TAG) and must adhere to all guidelines outlined and enforced by the Higher Education Student Assistant Authority.
The Incentive Award is an extension of the Promise Award. It helps fund the 3rd and 4th years of enrollment of the college with varying award amounts based on eligibility guidelines, academic performances and unit progression.
