On Tuesday, Nov. 3, it was the second annual Day of Giving at The College of New Jersey. This is a day, where the college asks for donations from donors all across the country.
There were 15 different designations that an individual could have picked from. After being a “write-in” category last year, the Educational Opportunity Fund was part of the program this year.

The EOF program finished FOURTH with 97 donors. The TCNJ Fund led the group with 264 donations, while Write in Your Designation was second with 152 and the School of Business was third with a 128.
The EOF program raised $4,347. The money raised will go to the most deserving students that are financially underserved and help with the cost of textbooks, educational supplies, summer and/or winter tuition, room and board, transportation and mental health resources.
Overall, there were 1,057 donors. The goal of the Day of Giving was to get 1,000 donors in a day. They raised $133,462.
