EOF Faculty Champion

Benny Chan

Benny Chan is an Associate Professor in his 12th year at The College of New Jersey in the Department of Chemistry.  He received his PhD at The Pennsylvania State University and did a post doc at Colorado State University and Los Alamos National Labs.  He currently has an active research program with undergraduate students in crystallography, solid state, and organometallic chemistry.  He and his collaborators have funding from the National Science Foundation to study student success including students in the EOF program and the Summer Scholars program.  He also serves as a Cooperman Faculty mentor.

Diane Bates

Diane Bates is Professor of Sociology and is the coordinator for Environmental Studies at TCNJ, where she has been a member of the faculty since 2003.
